About Little Nightmares
Little Nightmares follows Six, a small child trying to escape the Maw, an enormous vessel inhabited by dangerous adults. Its sense of scale shapes both movement and puzzles: furniture becomes an obstacle, a hiding place or a way to reach somewhere otherwise inaccessible. Progress combines climbing, environmental problem-solving and staying out of reach. Looking at a room before crossing it is often more useful than committing to the first visible path.
How to Play Little Nightmares
Getting Started
- Study the room for climbable surfaces, movable objects and a possible exit.
- Use the environment to reach the next area, checking where a jump or climb will end.
- When an inhabitant is nearby, observe its movement before leaving cover.
Practical tips
- Identify a landing or hiding place before starting a risky crossing.
- When a route seems too high, inspect nearby objects and changes in elevation.
